6. Usage Rights
When purchasing an artwork, the artwork’s economic rights are transferred from the visual artist to the buyer in accordance with international copyright conventions (such as the Berne Convention). This grants the buyer worldwide rights to:
- create copies of the artwork,
- distribute, publish, and transfer the artwork,
- use the artwork commercially and for any other lawful purpose without restriction,
- use the artwork without additional licensing fees.
Important: Even when economic rights are transferred, the artist’s moral rights remain in force. The signature included in the artwork (#anterosulonen AS) may not be removed or altered, and the artwork may not be presented in a manner that harms the artist’s reputation or artistic integrity.
If the artwork is marked as unique (1/1), the economic rights are granted on an exclusive licence basis, and the artwork will not be sold to other buyers. Otherwise, the economic rights are granted on a non‑exclusive licence basis, meaning the same artwork may be sold to multiple buyers.
The visual artist retains a non‑exclusive and perpetual right to display the sold artwork in the following contexts:
- on the artist’s social media channels,
- on the artist’s website and online store,
- in the artist’s portfolio,
- in the artist’s studio,
- in short‑term art exhibitions and other short‑term presentation contexts.
This retained display right does not limit the buyer’s full rights to the artwork, nor does it grant the artist the right to resell the artwork on an exclusive basis if it has been sold as a unique (1/1) piece.
7. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
Because the product is digital content delivered to you immediately, you do not have a right of withdrawal or return.
